Miriam is in the studio, mixing down her newest CD of original music, which will feature approximately 16 new original songs including “Shut Your Mouth”, “Crack”, “Thank You”, “Passing You By”, “Ransom”, “Do Your Thing”, and “One Day at a Time” which have been featured in Miriam’s live shows over the past three years. Levi Britton, of the band Down the Line, joins Miriam Pico on the duet “One Day at a Time”, an acoustic love song that is quickly becoming the favorite of many fans.
Many talented musicians have lent their talents to the project: Cris Pico on drums and percussion, Andy Evans on bass, Andrew Thomas on lead guitar, Glenn Floering on trumpet, Chris Selby on flute and sax and David Schmidt on keys. It is being recorded at Frontier Recording by Scott Zylstra, in Copemish, Michigan.
Graphic Designer, Marcus Pratt has designed an amazing work of art for the album.
A Special Appearance by Janine Winkler, Miriam’s very talented second grade teacher is also a part of the CD. Janine is one of the influences in Miriam’s life that helped nurture her love of music.
