A Birthday Poem.

I MADE IT ANOTHER YEAR
I made it another year!
Let’s party and make a big fuss.
I made it another year!
I didn’t get hit by a bus!
My plane didn’t crash,
my car didn’t flip,
My guts didn’t pop,
My heart didn’t quit,
I didn’t get shot, my corpse didn’t rot
I made it another year!

I made it another year!
I wasn’t decapitated.
I made it another year!
This fact should be celebrated!
My brain didn’t fail,
My veins didn’t burst,
I’m getting older
BUT THINGS COULD BE WORSE!
I’ve lived ’til today, I didn’t decay
I made it another year!
